Francisco Joubert Bernard is currently the bassoon professor at the University of Louisville, where he imparts his extensive knowledge and experience to his students. He has also taught at prestigious summer festivals such as the Eastern Music Festival, and has been a part of the world-renowned NYO/NYO2 teaching program by Carnegie Hall. Additionally, Francisco has delivered educational music talks during his fellowship at the New World Symphony, further solidifying his commitment to music education.
In Louisville, Francisco is part of the Louisville Academy of Music, where he nurtures young talent. He also maintains a private studio and teaches virtual students from various states. Francisco's teaching philosophy is centered on understanding and addressing the unique needs of each student.
